The subwoofer has 400 watts rms and 1200 max power, the 8105d mono amp has 500 watts rms and 1000 max power, the 7205 amp is 500 watts rms and 1000 max power and it has a cooling fan. if you wan't more specs on this visit www.kenwood.ca. Nope. You would be a-wasting your money!! Your ACT is a point from perfection so you've got that covered. That's a grand score even for MIT and Stanford. Regarding the SAT, don't submit it. Just use your ACT score and you'll be good. Trust me. For you subject test, most schools require (or recommend) you to submit only 2 scores: a math and a science. Your Math II and Bio E scores will definitely suffice for this. I truly don't think you need to retake any, but if you decide to, work on your 2 subject test scores and see if you can get closer to the 800 mark.

This last June was my first time taking the SAT. I didn't take any classes and didn't study because of lack of resources and time due to finals and all. I ended up getting a 1970 (700 CR, 600 math, and 670 writing). I'm not sure if those are good scores? Should I retake the SAT in the fall and study this summer in hope for a score increase? But on my amp there is TWO positive speaker terminals next to eachother and then TWO negative terminals next to those, SO from going to Left to Right its (+) (+) (-) (-). CPA Exam 150 hour requirement?

I took a Business Statistics course (3 credits) as an undergrad at UMass Dartmouth (in Massachusetts) and I got a C in it ... In order to pursue an MBA, my grad school required that I re-take the course. I am retaking it at URI (in Rhode Island) BUT it is a GRADUATE level course (also 3 credits). Even though these are both Business Statistic courses and are very similiar, can they still be counted for 6 credits instead of 3? you might consider retaking the SATs. i would suggest getting atleats a 1500. Your gpa seems to be ok. I would say you have a 40% chance of getting in. If you improve your SAT score then it can go to 60%.

If you can retake it than you should, but I think you only need to pass to go to college, and a passing grade is usually a 65 unless they changed it. But the thing is if you failed you can retake this so it's ok.

I'm 18 years old (almost 19) and I'm enrolled in my local community College here in the Bay Area. get a mono block amp! any brand you desire if it were me i would go with a memphis or matts both are really good and really strong and 99% of the time they are true wattage they put out what they say they do! memphis amps tend to be smaller than most but dont let that discurage you they pack alot of punch in such a small package! i have used many amp in my time and i put memphis on the top with matts and JL close behind.

you might blow those if you plan on listening loudly. that amp may be a little TOO much power. but if you keep your gain down you may be alright. just make sure you bridge it! it'll sound much better. wiring i'd go 4 gauge. 0 is definitely overkill. i've got a 1200 watt rms amp running happily on some high quality 4 gauge. remember, you could get -16 gauge (if it existed), but if it's bad quality, you'd be better off with some 16 gauge. i've found bullz audio is great quality and it's fairly cheap if you find it on ebay.

If they are struggling then speak to them about it and decide which you can live without the most. Power control wire sub install?

I am installing a kicker comp 10" sub in my car with a kenwood kac-5204 amp and an alpine ida-x303 stereo. there is a power control wire that goes from the amp to the stereo so i went to go plug it into the stereo and there is a power control wire already there from something else. i dont know what else is using one right now so i dont want to remove it. can i plug two power control wires into the one wire coming out of the back of the stereo?

I was given a ticket for being in the park after hours. The cop put me into the backseat of his car and had my phone with him. One of my friends I was with, but who didnt get semi arrested by the cops, called my phone. The cop then preceded to call him back twice, and then went through my phone. He asked me the names of the people I was with, and he double checked them on my phone. He then let me go with a ticket. I went to court and plead guilty and now have to pay a fine. My friends on the other hand got tickets for the same offense in the mail. However, the cop never once talked to any of them. The cop also called my friend and told him that I told on all of them. I never gave the cop any of their address or phone numbers, yet he had all of them. To add to this, the cop never read me my rights if that changes anything. How do I get my car subwoofers working again?

I have two kicker 12 inch subs in a manufacturer made box with a Kenwood excelon KDC-X395 deck and a Kenwood KAC-9104D 1800-Watt amp. I was driving home from California to Arizona and they randomly cut out I had them on low output at the time and they did not cut out mid song or anything like that. I switched the input from my a song to a video on my laptop and when i went back to music the subs werent working anymore. Universities only look at your grade 12 marks. They will look at your grade 11 marks only for early acceptance. Otherwise they are negligible. When you start grade 12 they will give you a book or a website where you can look at the acceptance averages. They vary from year to year and from school to school. But also keep in mind if you are having problems with sciences now you may want to be open to other programs because science doesn't get easier when you go to university. Trust me I'm currently doing it. But based on your grade 11 grades i dont think you will have any major problems. Just work hard.

Wow, that's quite an episode. Firstly, I don't think he's upset with you. I think he's embarrassed of what happened because he didn't hear you on the other end of the line. He may have thought that you were thinking how weird he is or thought that you hung up on him. I think it's best to clear things up right away. The amps run off 12 volts at 10 amps so you would have to get a converter that converted 120 ac at 1 amp to 12 volts at 10 amps then plug your amps into them. It should then work.

It seems like a waste to pay for a Kenwood amp and then run it to a Pyle subwoofer. If you do some searching you can probably find a better amp for around the same price range but keep in mind that amps do not necessarily mean volume. Running a 3200 watt subwoofer (I'm guessing that a peak rating, which you shouldn't use in the first place) with a might actually produce less sound than running it to a 1000 watt subwoofer. If the subwoofer's RMS rating (which I couldn't find listed anywhere) is around 1000 watts then it should work fine.

What do you mean by "count"? A W won't affect your GPA. It'll be on your transcript after you retake it, but it never really counts for anything.

It is possible that they could be the same, but most likely you will have some different and some the same. That is how it is in California anyways. There are several different clinical tests, and they pick 5 for the student to perform. I have heard that they almost always do hand washing. I had to do I & O, transfering, dressing a patient with weakness on one side, hand washing, and I can't remember the last one. Remember to always knock, introduce yourself, wash your hands, and give the patient their call light before leaving.

Those subs want about 400W RMS each, and that amp will only give them about 250W RMS each...it will work but won't be ideal. Ideally you want an amp that is around 800Wx1 RMS@2ohms.

Should I retake the SAT chem?

If you KNOW you can get 750+ for sure, I would say take it again... :) Nothing to lose except the testing fee... I decided to not take it after Chem Honors and I took it after AP Chem in June and got a 780... after AP Chem, the test definitely seems a whole lot easier and some of the questions become like a no brainer. (then again that's compared to the AP test) but even if you aren't retaking, a 720 is still really good, :) i would say anything in the 700's is great.

I have a 800 watt Kenwood KAC-8403 Four channel amp for my interior speakers. I have a 1800 watt KAC-9103D for my Subs. I will be hooking both of these up. I also have to sony xplod tweeters I installed in the rear running off my Jensen linear phase UV9 headunit. My amps are a total of 2600 watts. I haven't hooked it all up yet but I'm for sure my lights will be dimming and it will not be good. Could I just use a capacitor? If so how many farads. And what's a good brand? Hey I live in MD got pulled over on route 70. Cop tells me "it looked like I was going to fast and to catch up to me he had to do 80 mph". I've got a kac-7205 kenwood amp. It does a decent job but not quite what I was expecting. My problem is I dont really understand how the LPF "switch" and the LPF "dial" works. The switch has only OFF & LPF on it. The dial has Hz. from 50 - 200. The manual reads "The Filter switch outputs lower frequency's than the freqency set with the LPF frequency control, the Output automatical is switched to MONO (L + R) ". Dose this mean one Filter canel's out the other ? Is it possible to use both the switch and the dial? I dont understand why kenwood put two LPF's on one amp? And last but not least, The dial from 50hz. to 200hz. Dose setting it at 200Hz. get me more bass or at 50Hz.? Can anyone explain any of this to me? thanks for helping out !!!

GCSE's - How many times?

I am just about to enter my Second year of a college course for a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT. However, when I took my GCSE's in Secondary School, I didn't get the best of results. Car makes popping sound when making hard turn or hard dip and extreme grinding sound when braking?

OK, this is all the front passenger side tire. My brake light has been on forever, but I haven't heard a squeal from the brakes that precedes changing usually. When I turn quick left or pull out of my driveway (large decline then flat) turning left it makes a loud pop once. When I'm driving really slow and put the brakes on or sometimes just when I've let go of the brakes and am driving but been at a light for a while I get an extremely loud grinding sound but only from that one side where the popping comes from. How do I figure out whats wrong, and fix it? Serious answers only please, Im checking back once a day.

I installed my kenwood amp with 2 kenwood 10" subs and the light on the amp was not coming on when i turned on the car. I've checked all the wiring and there doesn't seem to be a problem with it. Any idea what it could be?

i have a kenwood KAC-9105D amp its puts out 900 watts rms at 2 ohms and >900 watts rms at 11 ohm... i was just wondering for this amp do you think one 15 or 2 12 alpine type rs would be better? because the amp would under power each sub by 50 watts if it was the 2 12s.. but the 15 i would have an extra 150 watts... so just let me know what you think...i listen to rap music and i like loud bass to the point where you can barely breathe.... so just let me know what you think.. and dont say upgrade amp because i only have enough money for new subs... thank you

Took a test & was negative & then when I looked an hour later it was positive?

I took the pregnancy test & watched it for a min & went into the other room to get my 2yo. out of bed and changed his diaper. I walked back into the bathroom and it was still just one line. It was at least 3 min (test says 1 to 3min). The test at this point was just negative so I tossed it in the trash. An hour later I went to the bathroom and I pulled it back out and it was positive. I'm not sure what to think at this point. Has something similar ever happen to anyone and it turn out to be that they were in fact pregnant? I am def going to retake tomorrow.

Should I report this bouncer for attempted kidnapping/sexual abuse?

I lost my friends in a club last night and by the end of the night I was alone, and so a bouncer I had befriended offered to help look for them. When we'd established that they'd gone he then took me to his car and told me he'd take me home. Being completely drunk I saw no problem with this, also after discovering that my phone had run out of battery and I had lost my bank card and had no cash on me I had no other way of getting home from town. When inside his car he offered me beer and cigarettes, which I accepted. He asked me if I wanted to do anything after, suggesting I go back to his house, but I politely declined explaining that as it was after 5am and I was feeling very ill and drunk, I really just needed to go home to bed. He then preceded to touch my leg and again ask if i wanted to go back. On the journey he made a detour to his house telling me that he was going to get a 'spliff', leaving me inside his car. When I saw that he had entered his house and shut the door behind him I made a run for it, having no idea where I was or how to get home. When I got to a main road I looked for trustworthy people to help get me home, in the meantime the bouncer had got back into his car and had found me, he called my name beckoning for me to get back into his car but i just ran. I subsequently found a woman to walk me to the nearest bus stop. I don't know what would have come of me staying in his car and wouldn't want to make any false assumptions or allegations, but at the same time i'm not entirely sure if what happened was appropriate or legitimate, being in the vulnerable position that i was. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Why my amp keeps shuting off?

I have a kenwood kac-9154d class d monoblock amp n Kenwood kac-w3011 subs. When I turn up the volume my amp turns off and comes back on a couple minutes later weather I turn down the volume or not. I don't have to shut off ny car to reset the amp. I have 4 gage power and ground wires n I just put new rca cables in so i dont understand y it keeps shutting off. mtx might sound a little more clear on hip hop songs but if your going for extra hard bass and have people hearing you come down the road and almost pushing your back glass out the kenwoods my kenwoods hit extremely hard I only have a p300.1 amp pushing both of mine. Well I'm retaking the act in september and on my first try I got a 22. I was wondering if it was possible to score a 25 or higher on my second try. Which amp should I get?

I just had my amplifier die on my (it strangely turns on, but no sound comes out). Anyway, I'm looking for a new one and I've found that the KAC-7204 and KAC-7205 are both good, cost about the same, and have the same ratings. Anyone know what the difference is and which is better? Evidently the KAC-7205 has a higher fuse rating (2x30 as opposed to 1x40) and does not have a high-pass filter like the KAC-7204 does. This makes it seem like the 7204 is the way to go, but I see complaints about overheating there where the 7205 doesn't seem to have any. Anyone have any experience with these and any insight as to which is better?

If you scored low on a regents exam but, retook it with a higher score would it still look as good on resume?

I have low scores on both the geometry and earth science regents but, I didn't fail. If I retook it with a much higher score nearly full score. You should talk with your school counselor with this. It sounds like you could be successful, but it all depends on what colleges you're going to. Some have strict rules when it comes to what classes they expect their incoming students to have taken and passed. I even know some colleges that are ok with 3 yrs of science and math. It all depends. But I definitely encourage you to talk with the school counselor to have everything straight before you start applying to colleges.

The amp will work as it was designed to, the nly thing the remote control will do is make it so that you can adjust the boost from the seat rather than having to on the amp. And yes they would be a good match.

Help with misbehaving children!?

Some people believe in time outs(whether that be 5mins. in a corner or pulling them out of the zoo and taking them home). Some people believe in loosing privileges(taking away tv, toys, etc...). Some people believe in a spanking(when I say spanking I do NOT mean beating your child. I mean a swat on the bottom when you are not angry). Some people believe in a combination of all of the above. Whatever works for you and your children - you have to be consistent. If they act up at the zoo, and you decide to take the tv away for 4 days stick to that, do not give it back after 2. If they get punished for the zoo incident and you go to the grocery store, and they act up. Whatever you did for punishment at the zoo, do it for the next incident. Right now, from your short ? I am assuming your kids listen to your wife more than you. They see your wife as the authority figure, and you as lets have fun and play. I don't think she should of yelled at you. Although my husband & I have a certain amount of equality in our marriage - even when we disagree, we do it behind closed doors out of the kids ears. We don't yell, we talk it out. The kids will pick up on that and think they can do whatever. You have to come together as a team, make the kids understand that both parents are in charge and whatever you choose for punishment, be consistent. On the flip side, it does help if lets say you took them to the zoo, grocery store or wherever they get rewarded for good behavior. This way they don't only see the negative, they see the positive side too. Both will sink in.

Will these 2 12" subwoofers with an 1800w Amp?

Yes. If they are 400RMS subs and 4ohm single voice coil, then you can wire them together in parallel to create a 2ohm load. The amp is 900x1 RMS at 2ohms so you would be putting about 450watts RMS to each sub. Slightly overpowered but no big deal, just don't turn up the gain super high.

I just installed my brand new Kenwood KAC-7205 amp and hooked it up to a single 12" CVR DVC 2ohm sub. the amp is bridged and should be making 500W x 1ch. @ 4ohms. Wired in series due to the dual 2 CVR. But would TWO single voice coil 4ohm subs be a better choice? Also I think it should hit hard than it does and was wondering about the settings. the LPF is actually "OFF" at the moment because it hits harder without it. I know.... i agree....It dosent make any scents. The bass boost level is at about 3 but will go to 18 With a drop in sound quality and distortion the higher you push it. The head unit is a Alpine CDE-100. So...two subs or one? and alittle info on how to set the bass boost, Input Sensitivity, and LPF switch and variable knob would be like gold to me right now. so I just bought this amp and installed it in my system it worked fine for a couple of days but then one day I went to play this new song I got and when I turned it up more the amp cut out and started flashing red and saying e-03, now I looked up the error code And it said it is when the speaker wire is shorted or is in contact with the vehicle ground, I checked all the wires and they all seemed fine I decided the unhook the speaker wire and was going to replace them but even with no speaker wires going the the amp it still displayed the error code I even hit the reset button and it didn't help any.. What do I do to get it working?? I just bought it!

Can secondary schools do this?

I mean, we had an assembily friday because we're going into last year. Anyway, they were saying 'If you're target is an A* and you're only getting A's you will have to retake you're exams. I'm meant to be getting A* when i can only get A's and B's. I'm not capable of getting a A*. I can't physically do it. I just can't. I work flat out anyway, i need me time too. I know it's important. I wanted to do the big three upgrade in my car....can i do this in Factory batteries and alternator?

It doesn't hurt to do the big 3, and it can be done on any vehicle. You don't 'need' to change the alternator, but factory alternators weren't designed to handle the load of multiple amplifiers. I like capacitors, as they will help stabilize voltage, but a high output alternator is definetly the best way to go. For your particular setup, I don't think you need to change the alternator. I would do the big 3 and run at least a .5 farad capacitor.

I have the options 85hz, 120hz, 160hz, or through. What does through mean and what's the difference between the hz? I have a ported JL 10w3v3-2 and a kenwood KAC 600 watt amp. I really didn't notice a difference in the hz honestly.

Audio confusion !!HELP!! im a noob?

About a year ago i had a sub and amp installed into my 1999 jeep wrangler. i wanted a better bass but nothing that slammed so hard it rattled my jeep apart. they put this together for me.( a Kenwood KAC-5204 amp and a Memphis 12 inch sub 15-PR12S4) i ended up liking it alot. a few weeks ago i finally decided on getting 6.5 inch speakers in my soundbar to replace the 4.5 inch ones, because i was lacking the mid bass( the stuff the sub would not pick up on) . i also wanted it to be louder because with he top off you have so much more room for the sound to escape. i ended up getting Memphis 15-PR62v2 speakers, well my head unit does not seem to have a enough power to play them loud. they are getting distorted when i turn the volume up ( not really even that high) i have a JVC kdr-210 head unit . so now im wondering how do i get my power to those speakers? the whole system does not have to sound the greatest with pitch and tone. being in a jeep, i just want some loud with bass music. can i connect the speakers to my amp as well? do i need a different amp for the whole system? a separate amp for the speakers? a different head unit? and i my end up upgrading my front speakers also someday. im not looking to spend alot more money and may buy used if i really do need to get another amp.:( just trying to see what i can do with what i have. seeing what i may need and so on. thanks for any and all help.:cool:

Do you think i can be accepted into these colleges? also can you reapply if you get rejected?

Can I bring my SAT score up to a 2000?

I just got my SAT scores yesterday: I have a 480 in reading, a 440 in math, and a 490 in writing. All of these equal out to 1410 out of 2400. I'm pretty disappointed but, at the same time its not bad for someone who didn't study at all I think. Anyway I'm going to be retaking the SAT again in November or December, what can I do this summer to get my SAT score to at least a 2000? Can I get a tutor? Can I take classes? Please help! My Grandmother died in 2009 and apparently (according to the rumor) she signed everything over to my aunt before she passed. To make a long story short my grandfather who preceded my gma in death had a Will and it stated that my father was to get the house and some other items were left to his brothers and sisters. Well my aunt kicked my dad out of the house and none of the grand-kids got anything, not even a damn picture and I just want to find out how in the world can I find this Will. Why is my Bass Cutting out?

I just installed a 1800w Kenwood KAC-9103D amplifier and i have (2) KFC-W3012 Kenwood 12 inch Subs running off it. I also have a 800w Kenwood KAC-8403D Im using all 4 guage wire for power. and i have a one 4 guage ground running to my chassis and split into two 8 guages to the amps. I have my settings on my 1800 watt decently cranked. as well as the 800 watt. and let me tell you. It Kicks! ALTHOUGH. when my volume is cranked high on my radio and certain songs hit low notes. the bass cuts out. i turn the volume down and withen 30 seconds the bass comes back on. Im driving so idk if the protection light comes on. ill have to look into that and i have absolutely no dim on my car. my lights. headlights. everything runs fine. should i turn settings down a bit? maybe do the big 3 upgrade?

Need new battery...help?

I have a 1992 honda prelude si with stock alternator and battery and wiring. I have a system in it now its a kenwood kac-7204 amp and a 15inch kicker comp in a sealed box bridged for 500 w rms and 1000 watts max with a 1/0 wiring kit. The lights severly dim due to the stock 90 amp alternator. So I am planning to get a 165amp high output alternator and do the BIG 3 upgrade with 1/0 wiring. The big question is how big of a battery should I get or what brand??

Sometimes, AP teachers will give you a better grade for your first/second semester if you get a 3,4,5 on your ap exam. Try talking to the teacher and see if that works. Honestly, the D will effect your gpa and transcript a lot, but if most of your grades are A's, then you should get to a great university.

Wow. I don't see how you can't get accepted. A 2010 on the SAT that's real good and your gpa is pretty close to 4.0. Also, you have a lot of extra curricular and a lot of AP classes. There's no way they can't take you.

No it will not hurt the speakers. I've never blown a speaker/sub in my life and i usually run SLIGHTLY higher then what's recommended (assuming you tune it properly to asses what is SLIGHTLY more) if you want to play the safe side, you can turn the gains (input sensitivity knob) slightly lower so that you're getting the exact 40 rms.

My parents want me to retake SAT? Help?

So I just got my SAT scores (470 M, 560 CR, 630 W), 1660 total. Now, I know that for most people that may seem a bit low, but I honestly tried hard and studied to the best of my abilities. However, my parents want me to retake the rest again, mainly because they think that I won't get into any colleges with such a low score. I took a SAT prep course last summer, and I got around the same score for every practice test that I took, so I feel like if I took the SAT a second time, my score probably wouldn't change that much. I also find studying (especially math in general) to be extremely painful, and I really don't want to sit through a three hour test again. What should I do? I'm already somewhat satisfied with my score, I already know what schools I want to apply for.

My brother failed Geometry 2 with a 61 (on both his regents and class) and he's a junior in high school. Because of this, he will have to go to Summer School and retake the regents in August. However my brother does not wanna go to summer school and rather just repeat Geometry in his senior year. But he is supposed to be taking Algebra II/Trig. next year and if he doesnt take the Trig regents, he will only recieve a Regents Diploma instead of an advanced one. How can I use a used SAVE file for Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 on the PS3?

Which of these two sub/amp combo's are better, and WHY?

Hands down, I would take the Rockford Fosgate amp. But the 12" subs are twelves, and the tens are tens. I don't know about either of those brands for subwoofers, but I know Kenwood is also a decent brand of audio. Also, you have to consider the specs. You didn't say how many watts the amps are, or the twelves, and you didn't say how many ohms the subs are. There is a lot to consider, I can't take the info you gave and say one combo is better than the other. But I can say that most people say this; Having a cheap, crap, no name amp with 1000 watts is kinda pointless, it would be better to take a good, quality 500 watt amp like Fosgate. I would probably take the best amp, cause you can get good subs anywhere, even a pawn shop.

He told me she flirted with him after I confronted him about the facebook deal. I was pretty angry because if it was the other way around he would be flipping out on me. He told me one more sign of distrust in him and the facebook thing stays the way it is. He knows I have trust issues and I told him so. He told me he's tired of fighting for me (even though I tell these guys not to text me) and if he found out I was talking to them it would be over. Im not an admissions officer and I will never pretend to be but your resume is VERY impressive, I can't say I know whether you will get in or not but you have very good chance I believe because you are SO very well rounded, seriously. My only advice is to get those SAT scores up (I got a 1930 on mine and Im pretty upset because I wanted a 2100+ but that requires hard work and study so I will have to buckle down otherwise it limits my college options) I think with you being an honors-ap student (my school doesnt have very many AP classes, only two and Im taking both next year) you should easily get above a 2000, that's what I've been told but it surely isn't "easy" haha, keep working hard and I wish you the best of luck! is that good. they hit pretty hard but not hard enough really they are the sony xplod 1200 Max watt shallow mount 10's and they are in a dual 10 ported box. i know they arent made for that but its the only box i have, i have a kenwood kac 7205. but the question is.. how do i get the best sound quality out of what i have.

I am in a little debate with a friend. According to the math I learned, you can only round up from the immediately preceding decimal; not from two decimals away. However, if you request one decimal place on Excel (44.5%) and then manually round up, it becomes 45%. That would result in rounding up twice, and from two decimals away. My friend says that this rounding to 45% is acceptable for research publication purposes. I say that it is not. What do you say?

Kenwood amp or Hifonics amp?

Im gunna get 2 12 in compvr kiccker subs and i need an amp to power them. They are 400 rms each so i basicly need around 800-900 rms. There 2ohms. Im lookin at 2 amps. The hifonics HFI2000d 2000 watt amp putting 1300 watts x 1 at 2 ohms and the kenwood KAC-9105D 1800 watt amp putting 900 x 1 @ 2 ohms. Now i know the hifonics has more power then i actually need and is a little more expensive, but i want to make sure hifonics is good enough of an amp to go ahead and spend a little more or should i just go with the kenwood?

COMPLETE & TOTAL SYSTEM FAILURE * my Kenwood AMP has died .?

I fear the worst for the future of my Kenwood KAC-7205 amp. Without any warning, With no sign's of over heating, no Clipping, no distortion all systems normal....... It just died ! I've checked all connections and fuse's. Everything appears to be O.K. . The amp is less than 2 months old. I bought it brand new and installed it only to drive One 12'' DVC 2ohm. CVR kicker. Wiried in series, the Sub was reciecing 500 watts through one bridged channel. All according to spec. and everything wired securly and properly. For two months now my stereo system has sounded Great. No problems at all. I added two Alpine 6x9's in rear and pioneer 6.5 3-ways in the doors. All powered by the Alpine CDE-100 head unit. Everything was fine. no issues at all then '' SUDDEN FAILURE !'' The amp wont do anything. no power at all. Can anyone help me? This ones got me stumped ??????

If you're talking one type R ( you did say 'sub woofers' plural) that is a good match, as it will push 500 watts RMS power to the sub at a 2ohm impedance. If you're talking two subs, it wont be nearly enough, and an Alpine MRP-M1000 would be much better to give them the 500 watts each that they can handle. Another comparable amp to the 8105D is an Alpine MRP-M500, which will give you the same power in a smaller footprint.

Even if you retake the D I believe UAMS will only factor in the D. That's how they used to do it. Also, med schools sometimes count W's as F's, like law school does. The D is a science class is much more alarming than the C in theatre. This alone probably will not keep you from getting into med school if you rock it the rest of the way and rock the MCAT, but you WILL need to do that.

Sub and Amp Help!!!!!!?

I have two 12in Precision Power Subs in a Ported box, They are 2 Ohm rated at 300RMS 600Peak each. Each sub has its own terminal. I have them hooked up to a Kenwood Kac-8105D Class D Mono Amp. I twisted the positives from both subs together and vice versa and connected them to the amp. The subs only play at a very low rate regardless of the volume of the stereo. But if i mess around with the amp the subs just play extremely loud but not with the music, its just a straight flow of bass. Then other times it kind of burps every few seconds but won't play with the beat of the music. Anyone have any idea whats going on!?!? The amp is rated at 500Rms at 1x2ohms

the manual that came with you sub should tell you waht to tune your low pass fillter at. I know thi is the "pro" way to do it but I set the volume on the dck 3/4 of the way up and the gain on the amp all the way down. play 2 or 3 songs and slowy turn up the gain on the amp if you rewach 3/4 of the full gain with out distorion stop. If you have distiorn piror stop and back the gain off. use the same 3 songs as a test. set your gain whene you haveno distiorn. your sub manuale also will give you a port diminons L and W. also qubic feet of air space. dont forget when add qubic air space to subtract the port size
