Why my amp keeps shuting off?

I have a kenwood kac-9154d class d monoblock amp n Kenwood kac-w3011 subs. When I turn up the volume my amp turns off and comes back on a couple minutes later weather I turn down the volume or not. I don't have to shut off ny car to reset the amp. I have 4 gage power and ground wires n I just put new rca cables in so i dont understand y it keeps shutting off. Can someone please tell me what I'm doin wrong
