Best hz setting for my sub?

I have the options 85hz, 120hz, 160hz, or through. What does through mean and what's the difference between the hz? I have a ported JL 10w3v3-2 and a kenwood KAC 600 watt amp. I really didn't notice a difference in the hz honestly.
