Power control wire sub install?

I am installing a kicker comp 10" sub in my car with a kenwood kac-5204 amp and an alpine ida-x303 stereo. there is a power control wire that goes from the amp to the stereo so i went to go plug it into the stereo and there is a power control wire already there from something else. i dont know what else is using one right now so i dont want to remove it. can i plug two power control wires into the one wire coming out of the back of the stereo?
