Should I run 4 or 2 ohms on my JL 12W3V2's?

I have 2 JL 12W3V2's in a box to be installed with a Kenwood KAC-8104D Amp. Both subs run at 300 RMS and the amp runs at 300 Watt - 4 Ohm or 500 Watt - 2 Ohm. Should I be running 2 ohms vs the reccomended 4?
